How is the Levelland Legacy Award Chosen?
The Levelland Legacy Award Program recognizes the accomplishments of businesses and organizations within the defined Main Street area that have enhanced the city’s economy for at least 20 years. Created in 2018, by the Levelland Main Street Program to celebrate 20 years as a Texas Main Street City, the program pays tribute to the city’s well-established businesses and organizations and their exceptional historical and continued contributions toward the Levelland Square’s economic growth and prosperity.
This award, which can only be received once per business, will be given to a Main Street business or organization annually. Awarded entities will receive a proclamation certificate signed by the Mayor and a “sign enhancement” to be added to their “Main Street Pedestrian Sign” denoting them as a “Levelland Legacy.”
