This fund was created for small for-profit businesses in Levelland that have been impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Each small business is eligible for up to $2,500
All applications must be submitted via email to levellandCARES@levellandtexas.org. Applications will be accepted beginning on Monday, November 16th, 2020 through Sunday, November 29th.

Guidelines
Who is the program for?
• This fund was created for small for profit businesses in Levelland that have been impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
- Small For Profit Business – At least 1 year in operation as of September 1, 2020
- 25 or fewer employees company-wide including all locations.
- Located in Levelland, TX City Limits
- Impacted by COVID-19
What can the funds be used for?
• Public Health COVID-19 Related Expenses
- PPE, Hand Sanitizer, Modifications related to COVID-19.
- Working Capital
• Overhead operations, payroll, rent, technology, short-term uses of cash for business operations, utilities, etc.
• Unemployment insurance costs related to the COVID-19 public health emergency if such costs will not be reimbursed by the federal government pursuant to the CARES ACT.
- Inventory
• Raw material, necessary for the continued operations, etc.
What are the terms and conditions?
• Public Health COVID-19 Related Expenses
- Expenses cannot occur prior to March 1, 2020 and must be submitted by December 1, 2020.
- Funds are provided on a reimbursement basis with supporting documentation (ex: purchase order, invoice and front and back of canceled check).
- Must display advertisement sign provided by the LEDC.
How much can I apply for?
• Each small business is eligible for up to $2,500
• Awarded on a first come first serve basis so long as the applicant is eligible and the submission is complete.

Upon execution of a grant agreement with the City of Levelland, you may submit a reimbursement request.
Disbursement of funds will occur on Friday for complete reimbursement requests submitted by Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Any complete reimbursement request submitted after 5:00 PM on Tuesday will be disbursed on the following Friday. All reimbursement requests must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Tuesday December 1st in order to be considered for disbursement.
