1. When does the City of Levelland hold elections?

Levelland City Council calls an election every year. The election is held each May on the state of Texas Uniform Election Day. 

During even  numbered years, Council Districts A & C seats are elected.

During odd numbered years, Council Districts B & D seats are elected.

An election for the position of Mayor is held every three years. The next election for mayor will be in 2018.

If there is only one candidate that applies for the seat on council, the election is cancelled and that lone candidate is declared the winner.
