[ARCHIVED] Levelland ISD Students Compete for USA

The two Levelland Middle School students were chosen after performing in a number of qualifying team trials at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Memphis, Tenessee, and Birmingham, Alabama. Both girls will be traveling together with their parents and will compete against other countries from around the world. They will be training with Olympic coaches and competing in the highest level of competition that they can attend at their ages. The World Championships is held in conjuction with the Olympic team trials for athletes over age 18. With elaborate flag ceremonies and extensive media coverage, this is truly an honor for these students to represent the USA. Caddell trains under Will Green and Sherry Mulkey with Acrospirits Ghmnastics, while Slape trains under Brad Davis with Air Extreme Gymnastics.
