WATER CONSERVATION PLAN
STAGE 2
Our water supply is a very valuable but limited resource so it is vitally important that we continue conserving it. To encourage water conservation the City Council has initiated Stage 2 of the City’s Water Conservation Plan, which requires citizens to conserve water by planning and managing their water usage, particularly when watering and using water outdoors. Please follow the following guidelines when doing outdoor watering.
Watering with Automatic or Hose End Sprinklers
Filling Swimming or Wading Pools
In order to reduce water loss to evaporation this type of water may be done on the following evening schedule:
Even Number Addresses:
8:00 p.m. Sunday until 10:00 a.m. Monday
8:00 p.m. Thursday until 10:00 a.m. Friday
Odd Number Addresses:
8:00 p.m. Saturday until 10:00 a.m. Sunday
8:00 p.m. Wednesday until 10:00 a.m. Thursday
Watering With Handheld Hose Nozzle or Bucket May be Done Anytime.
Home Vehicle Washing Must be Done with a Bucket or a
Handheld Hose with Nozzle.
The Following Water Uses are Prohibited:
Washing or Flushing of Sidewalks, Streets, Driveways, Parking Lots, Tennis Courts, Gutters, or other Hard-Surfaced Areas.
Washing of Buildings or Structures, Except for immediate Fire Suppression
