A special election was held in Levelland on November 6, 2007 to decide the following proposition:
"For the establishment of a freeze on the ad volorem taxes imposed by the City of Levelland, Texas, on the residence homesteads of all persons with disabilities and persons sixty-five years of age and older."

The results of this election will be certified and made official by City Council at the regular Council meeting on 11/19/07 @ 7:00 pm.

The Unofficial results of the election are as follows:

For the proposition: 596 Votes 90.30%

Against the proposition: 64 Votes 9.70%
